Project: Timber Sale - Select Thinning
This NH timber harvest was 120 acres in size. It was a combination of two 60 acre parcels, located next to each other and owned by close friends. Both owners were looking to generate revenue from their harvested timber. They requested that a selective harvest be done. They wanted trees left for future growth and a post -harvest woodlot that looked aesthetically pleasing.
Working on their behalf, Stillwater Forestry LLC , negotiated to sell their timber according to their goals and objectives. We chose to work with a whole - tree chipping logging crew from that area. This type of logging operation insured that there would be no tops and brush in the woods when we were finished. We have worked with this logging outfit before. They have a very good reputation for quality workmanship and professionalism. They lived up to their stellar reputation and did an excellent job on our client’s selective timber harvest.
We were able to get our client's project completed, in a timely manner, while meeting their goals. We were also able to generate a significant amount of income for them as well.
They were very happy with the end results.
