Forest Management Plan & Timber Harvest for The Town Of Shelburne NH
We were hired by the Town of Shelburne, NH, to do a long-term forest management plan for their municipal forest land. Once completed, we were then hired to do a sustained yield timber harvest on the property as well.
The property also housed the town transfer station. This was a project that was right in the midst of the public eye. We laid out the sale, tallied the timber volume, and put it out for a competitive bid. A reputable logging contractor in the area won the bid. We oversaw the harvest, and it went exceptionally well. The town made record high prices for their harvested timber, and the forest is in great condition for future growth. We look forward to managing this property well into the future.
