Project: Selective Timber Harvest + House Site/ Agricultural Clearing
Our client had recently acquired a 40 acre parcel in Tunbridge, VT. He wanted to have some of the acreage cleared for a potential house site and for future agricultural conversion. This involved roughly 20% of the property. On the remaining portion of the property, he wanted his forest selectively thinned out - with a goal of leaving vigorous dominant trees for future growth.
We were able to do just that while meeting and exceeding his expectations. The logging contractor who cut the wood - did an excellent job on all parts of the project. Along with the clearing and thinning - we were also able to generate a fair amount of income for our client as well. Income that can potentially be put towards the building of his dream home.

"Had a great experience working with Stuart and Stillwater Forestry over the past year on a timber harvest in central Vermont. I had spoken to and walked my land with a couple different foresters before meeting Stuart. He came recommended by another forestry related individual in the area and I would highly recommend him myself now. I had a long list of questions and requirements for the job and each was answered in a timely and professional manor. I very much appreciated the time taken to work with me over the phone, email, and on my actual land as needed. Thank you!"
