Timber Harvest & Boundary Line Project in Alexandria, NH
In the spring of 2023 we were contacted by landowners with 50 acres. They wanted to see the forestry on their property thinned and their boundary lines refurbished.
We came up with a plan to achieve that for them.
We put together a timber sale where the forest was sustainably harvested. Our focus was on thinning out the lower grade pulpwood and firewood, while leaving behind high quality red oak and sugar maple to grow another cycle. To enhance wildlife habitat, we also retained all the bear clawed beech.
We also found, blazed and painted their boundary lines, leaving them bright , visible and easy to find.
